Mizan ATVET college is a college that gives a formal vocational educational training to turn farmers and other actors in the agriculture and food system into skilled entrepreneurs who run their farms businesses as economic and productive sustainable enterprises.
It was established in 2002 following governments’ decision to promote national technical vocational education and training. The college is found in Bench-Sheko Zone, Southwest Ethiopia 585 km away from Addis Ababa.
Our Strategy
Our mission is to produce trainees that are competent, occupationally confident citizens and that can contribute their part in the country’s agricultural economic sector development by equipping the trainees with necessary skills, knowledge and attitude, thereby improving the livelihood of the farmers and reducing poverty in a sustainable way.
