Regular Level Based Graduate
Placements to all regular Level based graduate programs are processed through the Ministry of Labor and Skill. The College then conducts admission and enrollment to the different departments based on results of the Ethiopian Higher Education Entrance Certificate Examination (EHEECE), the choice of the student and the capacity of Departments.
Admissions and enrolments to all programs are processed by the College Registrar in consultation with the academic vice dean concerned and by the decision of the academic commission.
Extension and Continuing Program
There are two categories in which an applicant may join the level based extension and continuing program, namely, those who have completed preparatory and high school, and meet the score cut-off point set by Ethiopian Higher Education Entrance Certificate Examination (EHEECE).
An applicant who has successfully completed preparatory high school must satisfy the following criteria for consideration for the extension and continuing program.
- Meet the EHEEE score cut‐off point set by the Ministry of Education for eligibility to join a College,
- Produce the original and copy of the EHEEE (12th grade) score card,
- Original and copy of ESLCE (10th grade) score card,
- Transcript for preparatory high school,
- Properly complete the application form,
- Present proof of payment of the required fee.
Advanced Standing
Advanced standing admissions allowed in the agricultural field of study. However, the student must produce at least level I or II certificate and a passing result in the Certificate of Competence (COC) examination with at least two years of service.
A student admitted to a level based program on advanced standing basis shall stay for a minimum of one year as student in the program to which he has been admitted before he is awarded with a level IV certificate. Exceptions to this rule shall be approved by the Academic Commission of the college.
